Libwee farms, a climate smart farm sitting on a 10 acre farm land in Chigwere, Nkhatabay
offers communities in Mzuzu city and surrounding areas a rock to lean on for all organic
farm produce ranging from a variety of fruits and vegetables produced with lots of passion
and a range of livestock and poultry including dairy cows, goats, pigs and chicken layers
for egg production.
As an integrated farm, Libwee will leverage intercropping approaches inclusive of a cocoa
plantation producing high quality cocoa bean variety which will be supplied to cocoa value
addition companies i.e. Kwanza Cocoa.
At Libwee Farms, from farm to table is our main goal and we are aware not all produce can
make it straight to the market hence we will establish modern farm storage facilities and
become an offtaker for diverse smallholder farmers to contribute towards reduction of farm
produce waste.
